The clinical director of the Hollywood Treatment Center, Dr. Andrew Katz, has been in private practice since 1977, doing psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and counseling with individuals, Groups, Families and Marriage. Major emphasis has been in the areas of: Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Substance Abuse, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders.

Dr. Andrew Katz served as the President of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association with a current 1,100 plus membership and growing rapidly. He continues to sit on the FMHCA board of directors.

Dr. Andrew Katz was a Past President of the Florida Association for Specialists in Group Work, and was on the executive board of the Florida Counseling Association.

He was an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Nova University, and the Executive Director of the National Institute of Mental Health Harmony-Moody Drug Rehabilitation program in Upstate New York.
